ABOUT ME
I am highly skilled makeup artist in beauty and glamour and have over twenty years of experience. I obtained my cosmetology licence in 1993 for the State of Texas, I will be sitting for my exams again to renew my licence soon.
My experience as a makeup artist has been varied for the last 20 years, ranging from work for photographers as the most macabre example to working with fashion models and with film studios. I have completed 5 feature independent films. I have also been involved with a number of short films.
I am highly creative and able to use makeup as an artistic medium to create both special effects as well as to help people look their best. I view bodies and faces as my artistic canvas and cosmetics as my artistic palette.
I have been able to use makeup to age actors when they portray someone going through different stages of life. I can make people look like alien creatures or monsters of all kinds with makeup artistry. I am also able to create realistic masks and costuming, as well as create props such as corpses, decomposed bodies be it human or animal.
